A beer and nature extravaganza! Please join the Friends community for the 3rd Annual Beer in the Woods, a fundraiser for Friends of the Forest Preserves featuring craft beer and cider at LaBagh Woods on the northwest side of Chicago. LaBagh Woods is a haven for nature enthusiasts and birders - right in the city! Come revel in its natural beauty, drink beer with friends, and support programs that help safeguard and improve the forest preserves in Cook County. Admission to Beer in the Woods includes tastings from 30 craft breweries and cideries (see list below), interactive live animal presentations, nature-themed crafts, picnic games, a flash bioblitz, an "Ultimate Camp Site" display, bird walks, home brewing demonstrations, food trucks, and a DJ! There's plenty for beer and nature enthusiasts alike! All drinkers receive an engraved double-walled stainless steel mug with carabiner handle (perfect for camping!). VIP ticket holders enjoy one hour early admission (at 1 p.m.), cool swag, and an exclusive tasting from Lil Beaver Brewery. All attendees have access to all of the entertainment.
